Ms. Rautenberg (Ms. R)
I loved wearing green and orange as a Woodway Warrior so long ago. In high school I played volleyball, basketball, and softball. I sang in the choir and worked as a camp counsellor during the summers. I majored in math, german, and education at the UW and earned a master in Information Science too. Now I am a world traveler and an avid backpacker. I love to tell stories of my many trips: bitten by leeches, caught a piranha and ate it for dinner, and spent a day riding a Thai elephant. Just ask!

Mrs. Hironaka: Library Assistant
Mrs. Hironaka started working at EW library January of 2014. She attended Kauai High School in the Hawaiian Islands! She lived in a grass hut and did the Hula in the evenings for fun, just kidding. But do ask her to show you the Hula – or her Tai Chi moves. In high school Mrs. Hironaka was the ASB secretary and loved math and French. Her dad was in the pineapple business, so in the summers she picked pineapples, when she wasn’t swimming in the blue Hawaiian waters. She just returned from a trip to Japan, visiting her daughter. She also has one son. Mrs. Hironaka recently read “The Fault in Our Stars” and loved it. Need anything in the library? She can help – or send you in the right direction!!
